Waitlist privacy notice
LAQINEX is an early-stage project developing a global platform. This notice applies only to the promotional Coming Soon site and its optional launch-update waitlist, not to the future platform.
Who to contact
For privacy enquiries, correction, withdrawal or deletion requests, contact the LAQINEX project at partnerships@laqinex.com. The email address is the intended operational contact; mail delivery depends on the corresponding Fastmail mailbox or alias being active.
Information collected and purpose
If you explicitly opt in to the waitlist after the service is activated, we collect your email address, language preference, consent time/version and signup time, solely to manage the waitlist and send occasional LAQINEX launch updates. We also use short-lived, salted, hashed security rate-limit keys to prevent abuse. We do not intentionally store raw IP addresses in the waitlist database. If the waitlist is disabled, the form will not save your email.
Choice and consent
Joining is optional and requires an unchecked-by-default consent box. Signing up does not create a LAQINEX account or guarantee early access. You can withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by writing to the contact address above. Marketing emails, if sent, must provide an unsubscribe method.
Providers and data location
Cloudflare hosts this site, provides bot protection through Turnstile, and stores waitlist records in a Cloudflare D1 database configured with an EU jurisdiction. Cloudflare may process security data in accordance with its own notices. Fastmail handles emails you send to our contact address. If an email delivery provider is added for launch communications, we will update this notice before sending those messages.
Sharing, storage and retention
We do not use waitlist addresses for unrelated purposes, publish them, or sell them to advertisers. Access to the database is restricted to authorized project operators. We retain opt-in records only while needed for the launch-update purpose and delete them upon verified withdrawal or once the purpose has ended, subject to any legal obligations. Abuse-prevention counters are intended for short-term operational use.
Your rights and international processing
Request access, correction, deletion or information about your data by email. Because our database uses an EU jurisdiction, submission may involve international transfer and processing. We will review applicable legal requirements before activating public collection. We do not make automated decisions about eligibility based on your signup.
Changes
We may update this notice if the site, providers or processing purposes change. Material changes affecting waitlist collection will be reflected here before the change takes effect.
